The Research Outpost,[1] or Observation Tower, is an outpost in Biosyn Sanctuary in the Dolomites Mountains that was seen in Jurassic World: Dominion. There are various outposts throughout the sanctuary.
Description[]
It's a research outpost where Biosyn scientists study the dinosaurs housed in their sanctuary and it's connected through underground tunnels up to the main compound. It's equipped with maps, guns and other supplies.
History[]
During the incident in 2022, Alan Grant, Ellie Sattler, Ian Malcolm, Owen Grady, Claire Dearing, Maisie Lockwood, and Kayla Watts take refuge in the tower. While there, they are attacked by the Giganotosaurus. Afterwards, they access the underground tunnels to go to Biosyn's main complex.
After the incident, all research outposts were abandoned after the valley was turned into a global sanctuary by the United Nations.

Trivia[]
- This facility is included on the Biosyn expansion of Jurassic World Evolution 2.
- Originally, during the Giga attack scene, Ellie would hang from the outpost's balcony and her locust sample would have fallen into the dinosaur's mouth.[2] However, this was not included in the final cut nor in the extended version, although it seems to have been included in the second trailer.[3]
