"Dinosaurs had their shot. And now we're supposed to share our world with them and hope everything turns out okay? Nonsense! What say you, caller?"
"I for one do not feel safe, Ross. It was bad enough they made a dinosaur theme park, but at least it was on an island."
"Not so sure those Camp Cretaceous kids would feel the same way. They finally escape, only for one of them to get eaten up back home? It's enough to make-"
—Ross and a female caller(src)

Ross is an American conservative radio personality. His voice can be heard on Darius Bowman's truck radio in the first episode of Jurassic World: Chaos Theory.

History[]

Jurassic World: Chaos Theory[]

Season 1[]

"Aftershock"[]

Darius Bowman is driving his truck whilst switching through radio stations. Switching to a station, a message about entitlement to financial compensation if you are attacked by a dinosaur or flying reptile plays. Changing the station again, the voice of a conservative radio personality called Ross can be heard. He states that dinosaurs had their shot, and talks about how it is unfair that humans have to share their world with dinosaurs. A female caller agrees, stating how it was bad enough that they made a dinosaur theme park, and that at least the theme park was on an island. Ross then goes on to mention the Nublar Six, and how they got back from the island only for one of them (Brooklynn) to be eaten back on the mainland. The talk show is then cut into by a warning about a dinosaur in the area.

Trivia[]

  • The line 'dinosaurs had their shot' was originally spoken by Dr. Ian Malcolm in Jurassic Park.
  • In the credits of Jurassic World: Chaos Theory, Ross is simply listed as 'Bombastic Talk Show Host'.
