The Sierra Nevada is a mountain range in the Western United States, between the Central Valley of California and the Great Basin.
History[]
Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom[]
After the fall of Jurassic World, former Velociraptor trainer Owen Grady moves to Sierra Nevada and starts single-handedly building a cabin.
Following the events at Lockwood Manor in 2018, Owen renews his relationship with Claire Dearing, and the two adopt Maisie Lockwood as their daughter.
Jurassic World: Dominion[]
For the next four years, Owen has been working closely with the Department of Fish and Wildlife capturing dinosaurs and relocating them to a safe place, possibly Biosyn Sanctuary. Meanwhile, he and Claire have been raising Maisie in an isolated cabin in an attempt to protect her from people who might want her because of her status as a clone. Blue built a nest nearby their cabin, where she laid an egg, which later hatched into Beta.
After capturing a Parasaurolophus, Owen herds it with his DFW partners, Rosa and Shep, they come across poacher Rainn Delacourt, posing as a DFW official with a fake badge. Owen's group is accused of poaching, but they do not recognize Delacourt as a new recruit. After a gun confrontation, Owen gives in and hands the Parasaur to Delacourt's group.[1] Delacourt was actually spying Owen and targeting Maisie to be kidnapped and taken to Biosyn's facility in the Dolomites.
Trivia[]
