Sinornithosaurus (derived from a combination of Latin and Greek, meaning 'Chinese bird-lizard') is a genus of feathered dromaeosaurid dinosaur from the early Cretaceous Period (Barremian, formely Aptian) of the Yixian Formation in what is now China.

Following Darius Bowman and Kenji Kon’s encounter with a Pyroraptor, the group try to figure out what the dinosaur could be. Not knowing any feathered species cloned, they theorise it to be either a Yutyrannus, Anchiornis or Sinornithosaurus.
