Sinotyrannus is an extinct genus of tyrannosauroid theropod dinosaur that lived in China during the Early Cretaceous period. It is known from fragmentary bits of fossils, which consisted of the premaxillae and dentary of its incomplete skull, three preserved vertebras from the rear of its torso, and the left side of its ilia. It is specifically a member of the Proceratosauridae, a group of the earliest tyrannosaurid that first appeared during the Jurassic period, and are known for possessing distinctive crest on their head, like Proceratosaurus, Guanlong, and Yutyrannus. Being from the early Cretaceous, Sinotyrannus is geologically one the youngest members of this family, and it is one of the largest in size, being on par with Yutyrannus.

Jurassic World: Dino Trackers[]
Sinotyrannus is set to appear in the Jurassic World toyline "Dino Tracker", as part of the "Gigantic Trackers" assortment. Not only is this its first time to be in the toyline, but it also mark its first appearance in the Jurassic Park franchise.
