The Site B River was a river on Isla Sorna featured in Jurassic Park III.

It was not seen in The Lost World.

The aviary of the island unflined in this stream of water, in an area covered with mist, until reaching a clearer point, where you reached a large open valley where some species of dinosaurs coexisted, although further in this river again falls between several cliffs and low-high areas.

The climate and atmosphere is humid, with rains leading to thunderstorms, but it can also be quiet and sunny, resembling a trippical environment

It is not known in which region of Isla Sorna the river is located, but it can lead to the coast, as mentioned several times in the film it appears by the protagonists, like Alan Grant. The river is in the vicinity of the Aviary and the InGen Compound, not far from a small area where hadrosaurids such as Corythosaurus and Parasaurolophus live, although it is not known if they come to frequent the river, at least in the case of the first. The river was possibly Spinosaurus territory, as the predator was seen swimming in the water just before attacking the survivors.

Spinosaurus attacked one last time emerging from the river water.

Billy Brennan falls into the river below the "birdcage", and is then attacked and seemingly killed by some of the Pteranodon. The rest of the group find their way out of the aviary. The remaining survivors from the original search party, Alan Grant and the Kirbys, find a small boat which they use to travel down the river. On the way, they encounter a group of other herbivorous dinosaurs. By nightfall, the group finds and retrieves the satellite phone from inside the feces belonging to the Spinosaurus. At the same time, they see an adult Ceratosaurus prowling the place, which approaches them, but when he smells the other predator he decided to leave the humans free of any aggressive interaction.

Later, the predator follows them down river silently from below the waves, where it begins attacking and capsizing the boat as Alan tries to contact Ellie Sattler. He is only able to convey the words "The River! Site B! The River!" before the phone disconnects. After Paul distracted it on a crane, Alan managed to scare off the Spinosaurus for good by lighting the boat's fuel on fire with a flare gun. Then swam to shore by a sunk vessel. They then walk along the river back to the shoreline on the coast, where they are rescued by the Navy and the Marines, sent by Ellie.
