Suskityrannus is an extinct genus of small tyrannosauroid theropod that lived during the Late Cretaceous period, approximately 92 million years ago. Though related to the giant Tyrannosaurus rex, Suskityrannus was much smaller, about the size of a modern-day coyote.
It was referred to as "Zuni coelurosaur" or "Zuni tyrannosaur" in the past, as well as "Zunityrannus" in the documentary Planet Dinosaur.
Jurassic Park Franchise[]
Suskityrannus has so far been found in the news of the now defunct Jurassic Park Institute.[1] The original name is "Zuni Coelurosaur"; Suskityrannus is the only known coelurosaur from the Zuni Basin to date.
