- Nope. I think synthetic eggs only exist in Michael Crichton's imagination. I can't think of any reason why you would want to use plastic eggs. In The Science Of Jurassic Park And The Lost World Or, How To Build A Dinosaur they say it is better to insert the fertilised ovum back into the chicken/ostrich/chickenosaurus uterus. Dude, scientists who know EVERYTHING of their field only exist in VERY cheap science fiction. Remember that! On many occasions I knew some facts better than my professors. Cloning birds[]
The article does cite some sources about nuclear transfer in birds, but it uses those to disprove the notion that birds can't be cloned. Since seeing Mike McGrew's TED presentation, I've wondered if I should change that to say that whether birds can be cloned is debatable. Should I do that?
