When the Big One came in (like the film) she took over the pride and killed all but two of the other raptors. She commanded her two remaining subordinates to attack the security fencing. Muldoon claimed that in comparison to the other raptors, the Big One had an extremely high problem-solving intelligence, remembering the location of certain weak spots in the fencing and where feeders would come to feed the animals as stated.
As a result, the raptor cage was planned to be modified have eight inch tempered glass and steel frames over the pit to make sure they stayed in. Though there is no indication that the cage the Raptors were currently being held, was their final paddock or a temporary one.
Similar to the film, it’s been theorized that she attacked and killed an InGen employee. This prompted the worker's family to file a lawsuit against the company, and it successfully scares InGen's investors into thinking that the park is unsafe.

When the electricity power was cut by Dennis Nedry during the Isla Nublar Incident, the Raptor pen was still active, as Nedry knew full well how much of a threat the Raptors were.
Later, when the everyone decided to reboot the power to purge the computer system of Nedry's virus, it inadvertently shut down the fences in the Raptors' holding pen as well. Unknown to the survivors, the three Raptors realized they had an opportunity and broke out of confinement, as Muldoon was afraid they would. He and Ellie realized that the Velociraptors escaped when they went to reboot the power, and realized they were in serious danger.
The Big One and its subordinate attack and kill Robert Muldoon, and afterwards hunt, Grant, Ellie, and the kids for the remainder of the plot.
None of the raptors, including the Big One, survived the incident. After its subordinate was killed by Rexy, The Big One then pounced on the large predator , allowing the group to finally escape. As The Big One clawed into her, Rexy shook The Big One into the destroyed remains of the skeleton where it was promptly stepped on and crushed by the rex.

Trivia[]
- All three raptors are green rather than brown and tan like in the film.
- The Raptors blood, noticeably in the comics is green rather than red likely due for a PG rating, but also may hint at a more unnatural nature in the comics.
- Unlike the film, there is no evidence that the big one, nor either of its subordinates killed John Arnold, as he did not go to the shed alone, like in the film.
- It is possible that either the big one or one of the subordinates are one of the parents of Alf, Betty and Celia, in the raptor comic series.
