Lost world matchbox

The Lost World: Jurassic Park was the first Jurassic Park-themed die cast vehicle series done by Matchbox, shortly after the company was acquired from Universal Toys by Tyco in 1997. Released to coincide with the merchandising blitz that heralded the release of The Lost World: Jurassic Park in theaters, Matchbox's Lost World line was park of their Action System series and featured vehicles from or inspired by the movie (mostly the latter). The names listed on the backs of the cards differed from what the vehicles were actually identified as on their individual card fronts upon release.

List of vehicles

Tracker/Trappers

The basic carded line. Each set consisted of a die cast vehicle and two or more metal figurines of dinosaurs and/or humans.

Rage Rigs

Larger scale vehicles similar to the later Dino Transporters in the 2018 line. They had action features and also came with figurines of humans and dinosaurs.
