Creation:[]
Created on Isla Sorna sometime during the mid to late 80s, the Doe and Buck would be bred and raised there until Ingen would leave the island post the 1989 incident. It is unknown whether any other tyrannosaurs were housed on Sorna in the novel canon aside from the two we see. However, during the six year timespan between the two novels the rexes would pair and have at least one successful brood.
The Lost World (1995)[]
After receiving Richard Levine's coordinates, Jack Thorne took a motorcycle to the T. rex nest. When Jack found Levine, Levine accidentally fell from the tree he was in. His fall made too much noise which alerted the tyrannosaur parents which were feeding their young, leading to the male to chase them away.
Later, the team of Biosyn agents lead by Dr. Lewis Dodgson tried to steal the eggs of Tyrannosaurs. The attempt fails, resulting in George Baselton being eaten, Howard King breaking the leg of one of the babies, and their jeep being pushed stuck in thick undergrowth. King and Dodgson were both rendered unconscious from the raid. Afterward, Eddie, believing that the juvenile could be healed and returned, secretly brought it back to the trailer.
The Doe and her mate would track their infant to the gatherers’ trailer, where Malcolm and Sarah would give the infant back. She would then place her infant in a tree, and both parents would attack and destroy the trailers, only to be scared off by Thorne’s car horn later on.

- Unlike her film counterpart, their vision in NOT based on movement.
- The Doe is larger than her mate.
- The Buck and Doe had more than one successful chick with at least another two on the way.
