"Nothing in Jurassic World is natural, we have always filled gaps in the genome with the DNA of other animals."
This page contains content about a currently unidentifiable species from the Jurassic Park franchise. Until official sources confirm the identity of this species, the page will remain Unidentified Cretaceous Bird until further notice. |
Some unidentified Cretaceous birds are an unknown species that only appeared in a scene from Jurassic World: Dominion: The Prologue, as well as on the extended version Jurassic World: Dominion.
History[]
Jurassic World: Dominion: The Prologue[]
During the Cretaceous, a few Cretaceous birds flew away from a feathered T. rex approaching the Giganotosaurus.
Identity[]
There is speculation that the Cretaceous birds could be a flock of a Mirarce (an extinct genus of enantiornithine bird that lived in the same time and area as the prologue's Nasutoceratops). Or Avisaurus (an extinct bird-like dinosaur that lived alongside Tyrannosaurus rex and Ankylosaurus). However, they may just represent a generic prehistoric animal, with its species being irrelevant.
