The Unidentifed feathered herbivore was a species of herbivorus dinosaur that only appeared in the first issue of the IDW comic series Jurassic Park: Dangerous Games.
Identity[]
A possible identity for this dinosaur is Falcarius, which has a very similar body and head design to this creature. However, the mouth of the creature is very different from that of Falcarius, but this does not rule out the possibility.
Another possibility is that this dinosaur is Gallimimus, as it was a dinosaur that appeared heavily in the film franchise. However, it is impossible to tell if it is actually the same species.
Story[]
The herbivore was one of the many dinosaurs that InGen created and that became wild on Isla Nublar after the incident that occurred on the island.
On CIA agent Daniel Espinoza's first day in the wilderness of Isla Nublar, he encountered at least two of these herbivores at a lake. Suddenly, an Unidentified long-clawed theropod erupted out of the forest, chasing all of the dinosaurs, including these herbivores, away from the lake before killing a Triceratops. The herbivore is never seen again in the story.
