The United States Navy (USN) is the maritime service branch of the United States Armed Forces and one of the eight uniformed services of the United States. It is the largest and most powerful navy in the world, with the estimated tonnage of its active battle fleet alone exceeding the next 13 navies combined, including 11 U.S. allies or partner nations as of 2015. It has the highest combined battle fleet tonnage and the world's largest aircraft carrier fleet, with eleven in service, two new carriers under construction, and five other carriers planned. The U.S. Navy is the third largest of the U.S. military service branches in terms of personnel. It has 290 deployable combat vessels and more than 3,700 operational aircraft as of June 2019.
Owen Grady was a member of the U.S. Navy.[1] The USN was involved in the rescue of Eric Kirby during the year of 2001, their fleet was consisted of Carriers and Seahawks.[2]

The Lost World: Jurassic Park[]
After Tyranosaur Buck and his infant, Junior, were brought to the mainland from Isla Sorna by Peter Ludlow's team in order to display them as an attraction for a planned Jurassic Park: San Diego, Buck was lured into S.S. Venture's cargo hold, where he stayed until Ludlow foolishly ordered the area checked once the ship docked at the InGen Docks at San Diego. Enraged, dehydrated and hungry, the Tyrannosaur stormed out of the cargo hold and smashed through the dock checkpoint before wandering into San Diego, causing chaos throughout the city, in search for his infant. He was eventually captured with his infant and put back to the ship's cargo. The US Navy escorted them back to Isla Sorna, and former InGen CEO Hammond hold a speech on CNN pleading that the island to remain preserved and isolated for the dinosaurs only.
Jurassic Park III[]
When Eric Kirby and his mother's boyfriend got stranded on Isla Sorna after taking an illicit parasailing tour in 2001, Eric's parents organized a rescue mission by tricking Dr. Alan Grant into being their guide by posing as adventurous millionaires, which later failed. Grant managed to call Ellie Sattler to ask for help, shouting "The River! Site B! The River!" on the line after the Spinosaur's attack. Due to Ellie's husband's connection to the State Department, he helped them get the US Marine Corps and the U.S. Navy to rescue them from the island.[2]
