History[]

Before Isla Nublar[]

This Gallimimus was probably brought back to life with several others of her kind by InGen on Isla Sorna before being brought over to the park on Isla Nublar in order to be exbibited.

Jurassic Park[]

The Gallimimus was a member of a herd of over twenty Gallimimus that lived on Isla Nublar in the Gallmimus Enclosure during the time of the Jurassic Park Incident in 1993.

When Alan Grant along with the Murphy siblings Tim and Lex crossed the plain on their way back to the visitor center, they came across the herd of Gallimimus who bolted over the plain. As they stampeded towards them, the humans were forced to seek cover behind a big fallen tree while the herd ran past them. Suddenly Rexy, the escaped T. rex, stormed out from the forest beside and surprised the herd. The Unlucky Gallimimus was too slow to make a quick escape and was caught and shaken to death by the jaws of the giant carnivore while the rest of the Gallimimus herd fled. While Rexy was eating the Gallimimus, the humans escaped.

The Gallimimus' body was never fully consumed and her remains were still present in the location where she had died by October 6, 2002, almost a decade later.[1]

This Gallimimus would be the first of many others of her kind to be killed by Rexy before the island was later retaken by InGen, who started to build the new park Jurassic World in 2002.
