Today I'll be discussing who I believe, is (quite possibly) the most robbed Jurassic Park character, Tim Murphy.

As many of you know, Tim's story began back in the 1993 Jurassic Park film, being presented as the Grandson of John Hammond alongside his older sister Lex. Since the first film however, the character Tim Murphy falls into a state of obscurity, but his legacy still lives on.

Four years later, John Hammond is fired as CEO of InGen (now an environmentalist) and replaced by his nephew Peter Ludlow. Following the deaths of both men however, InGen was acquired by Simon Masraini (CEO of Masrani Global Corporations). This is where the blog starts to get interesting.

Now here is a quote by his actor Joseph Mazzello 'I do think about it all the time because there's so much I think that you could like do with this character. Like, he was like sort of the obvious heir to, like, John Hammond's fortune. He was the heir to Jurassic Park and, like, would this experience have turned him away from dinosaurs and make him hate dinosaurs?'. With that being said, I believe it should have been Tim Murphy (not Simon Masrani) as John Hammonds ultimate successor and heir to Jurassic Park.

Tim Murphy had a great love of dinosaurs and being John Hammonds grandson it makes sense he would ultimately acquire Jurassic Park and fulfill John Hammonds dreams, but ultimately this never happened. In fact his actor Joseph Mazzello hasn't even been asked to return to the Jurassic World: Dominion and 'never [even] received a call to return to set', if this is the case I'll be extremely disappointed if the Murphy children do not reprise their roles in the 6th film. It seems that the franchise has moved well past Tim Murphy's name, why?

Anyway that's all I have to say. If you made it this far then thank you for taking the time to read this blog.
