William Hall Macy, Jr. (born March 13, 1950) is an American actor, writer, director, producer and singer who portrayed Paul Kirby in Jurassic Park III. Other notable films Macy has appeared in include Fargo (1996), Air Force One (1997), Pleasantville (1998) and Magnolia (1999). Aside from his work in film, Macy has had an extensive career in television. He is perhaps best-known for playing Frank Gallagher in Showtime's Shameless (2011-2021).
Macy has won two Emmy Awards and four Screen Actors Guild Awards, as well as being nominated for an Academy Award for Best Supporting Actor.
